The Monday paloma
Mezcaloma
Mexico's most popular highball, made smoky. Grapefruit soda does most of the work, which is why bars love it on a Monday.

Ingredients
- 2 oz BNAAA Mezcal
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- Pinch of salt
- Grapefruit soda to top (about 4 oz)
- Grapefruit wedge
Made with BNAAA Mezcal, the mezcal in every recipe here.
Method
- Salt half the rim of a highball glass if you like.
- Fill the glass with ice, add the mezcal, lime and the pinch of salt.
- Top with grapefruit soda and give it one gentle stir.
- Garnish with the grapefruit wedge.
Tip. Fresh grapefruit juice plus a splash of soda water is the bartender version. Squirt or Jarritos is the Monday version.
